Google maybe helping out the Post Office? Introducing Gmail Paper. Everyone loves Gmail. It's Google's free and easy to use email system. I have been using it for quite a while now and love it but not everyone loves email, or the digital era. What ever happened to stamps, filing cabinets, and the mailman? Well dedicated Google members asked for it, and a new feature is available in Gmail. You can request a physical copy of any message with the click of a button, and they will send it to you in the mail. Google will print all messages instantly and prepare them for delivery. Allow 2-4 business days for a parcel to arrive via post. Google takes privacy very seriously. But once your email is physically in your hands, it's as secure as you want to make it. 15 new Star Wars Stamps unveiled in L.A. at the Chinese Theatre to be available May 25th. The Star Wars fans are destined to surpass the sales of the Elvis stamp. I personally can't get enough of the Wonder Woman stamp but Darth Vader might just take over my collection. The madness has only just begun.
Oh that aint right. I was actually showing somone a photo from my vacation on my camera phone while on a break on the workroom floor and the Plant Manager had a fit. Reminds me of how other countries were in the past.

One of the few remaining ways to deliver the Mail is via bicycle at the St. Petersburg, FL. “Open Air” Station. A few of the benefits…. The bikes are low-visibility, attention-grabbers and quite unique. On the downside, when it rained “cats & dogs” which it does so frequently down there, all you had was a USPS issued umbrella which strapped to the underside of the frame, and if you were lucky some overhead tree branches. This picture was taken by a passing motorist in the late 80’s when I was a carrier there, and some are still in use today and really haven’t changed all that much.
FBI agents check the identification of a postal worker seeking to enter the Federal Building in Los Angeles as security measures were tightened coast to coast after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
One thing we never have enough of on the Postal Service is space. Although maybe that's a good thing. Lots of mail = Job Security.
Just think, all this hard work only cost $13.25 for the carrier to come by and pick this up on a 100 degree day. The other costs were the individual shipping on each box via click n ship. Not bad at all.
Whats going on here?
I have been reading for a few years how the Postal Service will convert their transportation into various ways of ECO-Friendly transport vehicles. This morning on the radio I heard that Southern california will be using Hydrogen powered vehicles while in Boston they are using Hybrid vehicles. Click here for the story.

On September 1th, 2001 at 8:30 a.m I was sitting on an airplane in Tampa, Florida. At 8:45 it started to take off and then lowered it's landing gear and returned us back to the airport. The airport was in panic but as the day went on the world seemed to stand still. The next morning I was able to rent the last available car where I drove non-stop 24 hours to New England. I was able to drive around the Pentagon on 395 very close. I was also one of the first cars allowed to cross the George Washington Memorial Bridge in NYC. I saw it all. I was in shock and never photographed anything except with my own mind. My heart goes out to those who lost their lives, to those who lost loved ones, and to those who lived to tell the story and are suffering to this day. It's a different world we live in now and I pray for better times. Never Forget. The Victims of 9-11-01.
Thousands of Postal Employees rallied through the streets of Philadelphia yesterday protesting the Postal Services grand scheme of consolidating plants and forcing employees to work in places far away from their homes. Many employees forsee a privitization plan. They are also complaining about equipment changes and personnel cuts made since operations moved to the new Southwest Philadelphia postal center. They say the new technology is unreliable and workers are complaining about frequent equipment breakdowns. Sunday also marks the first time all four of the largest Postal Union contracts end at the same time.
