The postal department does a greater service to the public and to the government and thanks for posting this informative blog.
I am a recently seperated TE from the KANSAS CITY KANSAS area. I am also a proud member of the military over sixteen years service and counting. I was informed by the POSTMASTER here we are not letting you work here because of you're attitude. I am at work everyday carrying mail sick with toothaches you name I am their not only carrying routes sick, I have to carry 1 hour splits are better, but I have an attitude. About three years ago I had a dentist appointment the supervisor let me go to that appointment, but I came back after having two wisdom teeth pulled and carried that walking route he there for me an I have an attitude. Last winter in the snow someone had a aquarium in the ground on their lawn covered by snow I fell in it in 25 degree weather I still finished that route and my split. But I have an attitude. I was told by the POSTMASTER in order for me to keep my job I would have to tell him something earth shattering. I am willing to bet he is a veteran also, but he has the attitude not me. HAPPY VETERANS DAY TO ALL WHO HAVE SERVED, AND SERVES NOW. I appreciate the way the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE SHOWS GRATTITUDE TO IT'S VETERANS!
Really wish I found this sooner. Any chance you have plans of posting again. Looks like you started off great.
