HAZWOPER MAN

This Mail Handler was also a team leader of the hazardous spill team on tour 3 in Hartford, CT. Many hazardous spills and suspicious powders occur putting him and his trained team members in danger while protecting the sanctity of the mail and ensuring the safety of fellow employees.

As a military postmaster in Germany in the late 80s I enjoyed nothing better than selecting a parcel off the shelf so we could drag it outside on a long line and have the EOD folks sandbag and blow it up.

Life is good in the fast lane.
