Memorial Day 2006
Instead of a question and answer, it is appropriate this Memorial Day to salute all those who have given their lives in defense of this nation. Without their sacrifices we would not be free to ask questions, to challenge our political leaders and to take an active role in our system of government. To them we owe an unrepayable debt. I am asking all my fellow Postal Employees to honor the fallen men and women who served and lost their lives so that we can live ours. Enjoy your holiday and be safe.

Beware of Dog
Today begins National Dog Bite Prevention week. May 21- May 27, 2006. Until I was detailed as Carrier Supervisor and actually went out on the streets I never realized how many dogs threaten the safety of our fellow Postal Employees. Click here to learn more about dog bite prevention and do your part by passing that information on to your neighbors and friends.
